I pray that you will never feel alone
Even when the others walk on ahead of you, you will never walk on your own
you’ll know that when you slow down enough
I pray that you never belittle yourself
because you are not them, nor they, you
Nobody else can stand in your way, only you
I pray that you will be true to yourself
Never make decisions contrary to your heart’s desires
You are free to pursue your dreams
I pray that you will not make the same mistakes I did
but learn from mine, and learn to make your own
and that the lessons you take with you will make you wise
I pray that you will never regret a moment of your life
every breath, every word and every step
know that no one can take the joy of living away from you.
I pray that you will love and be loved
only then will you be truly living life
and also understand the love you have received
I wish you happinness, I wish you joy
I wish you peace, even in times of grief
I wish you everything that life has to give
and I wish that I can be there to see you achieve all of this.
